As Co-Owner and Head of Business Development at CLG, Kurt helps advisors create efficiencies in their businesses and successfully grow their practices. He also helps individual clients set up and sustain wealth for today and future generations.
Before becoming a financial planner, Kurt had a prominent career as an All-Pacific-10 shortstop at Arizona State University and was a top-draft choice by the San Francisco Giants Organization in 1992 before he retired in 1997 because of an injury. The experience of a high-performing athlete drives Kurt’s passion today for helping a range of individuals realize their potential in every stage of their lives. Focusing on retirees, executives and athletes, Kurt acts as his clients’ “quarterback” to help them pursue their financial goals and objectives.
Kurt received his Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University. He currently holds his Professional Plan Consultant designation and Series 7, 66 and 63 securities registrations. He is also insurance licensed in California for life, health, disability and long-term care.
Outside of the office when he’s not focused on clients, Kurt is very involved in youth sports and currently coaches both of his boys in baseball and football. Kurt says his fortune is his wife Sarah and two incredible sons, Jake and Owen. His family continues to raise assets through their children’s sports endeavors and donate to local pediatric hospitals and children in need.
